27 Researchers from Islamic University of Bahawalpur Rank Among Top 2% Scientists Globally

Bahawalpur, In a significant academic achievement, 27 faculty members from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) have been recognized among the top two percent of the world’s best scientists, as per the latest rankings released by Stanford University, USA. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar has not only made it to this prestigious list but is also distinguished as one of the best scientists in the world.

According to a news release by Islamia University of Bahawalpur, The esteemed faculty members were acknowledged for their significant contributions in diverse fields ranging from pharmacy, chemistry, mathematics, agriculture, physics, computer science, to engineering. Their research and theses, aimed at addressing and solving intricate problems in their respective disciplines, stood out on the global platform.

Some notable inclusions from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur in the ranking are Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar from the Department of Pharmaceutics, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani from the Department of Pharmaceutics, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif from the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Director ORC. Other distinguished faculty members include Prof. Dr. Riaz Hussain, Prof. Dr. Zaheer Abbas, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Farooq Warsi, and Dr. Humira Arshad, to name a few.
