PML(N) Cancels Anthem Release Ceremony Amid Gaza Tragedy

Lahore, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) announced the cancellation of the ceremony scheduled to release the party’s new anthem, in light of the recent tragedy in Gaza where over 500 innocent Palestinians lost their lives due to an Israeli airstrike on a hospital.

According to the press release by Pakistan Muslim League (N), The event, originally planned to take place today in Lahore, was intended to mark the return of the party leader, Nawaz Sharif. Former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Shehbaz Sharif, was to preside over the anthem’s release. However, following the distressing news from Gaza, Shehbaz Sharif directed the cancellation of the ceremony as a sign of solidarity and mourning for the Palestinian victims and their families.
