Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to further strengthening its relations with Nigeria, emphasizing that the existing bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue to deepen in the years ahead.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, in his message to President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Nigeria's Independence Day, President Zardari highlighted the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Nigeria. He expressed confidence that closer cooperation would benefit both nations.

The President extended his best wishes for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of Nigeria.
