Wah Cantt: University of Wah in Pakistan and Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Türkiye have formalized a five-year agreement to enhance academic and research collaboration. The newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to foster cooperation in faculty and student exchanges, shared participation in academic events, and collaborative research efforts.

According to University of Wah, the agreement outlines several areas of collaboration, including the exchange of researchers and faculty, joint participation in conferences and workshops, and the sharing of academic resources. The partnership also emphasizes the use of digital platforms for collaborative efforts and aims to explore funding opportunities at both national and international levels. Additionally, there are plans to develop joint research centers and offer internships and practical training opportunities.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi and Prof. Dr. Oguz Gürsoy, representing their respective universities. Both institutions have committed to appointing focal points to facilitate connections between academic staff with shared interests. The MoU also indicates plans to promote student exchange and appoint adjunct faculty members from Mehmet Akif Ersoy University at the University of Wah. The collaboration is subject to compliance with applicable laws and institutional policies of both universities.
