SARGODHA: In a meeting convened by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha, Prof. Dr. Tasawar Hayat, significant reforms were announced to enhance the institution's academic, administrative, and financial operations. The meeting, which included Deans, Principals, Directors, Chairpersons, and administrative heads, focused on promoting merit, transparency, and efficiency within the university.
According to University of Sargodha, the Vice Chancellor outlined several initiatives aimed at digitizing processes across various departments. These include the digitalization of academic, administrative, and financial procedures, alongside the merit-based distribution of university residences. Furthermore, the implementation of digital fuel billing and vehicle tracking systems was also discussed as part of the reforms.
The meeting reached a consensus on the necessity of streamlining faculty recruitment and promotion, accelerating the scrutiny of research publications, and rationalizing the roles of non-teaching staff. A redesign of the University’s website was also decided upon, aiming to improve institutional communication and visibility. Prof. Dr. Hayat called upon all academic and administrative leaders to ensure the effective implementation of these measures, emphasizing collective efforts towards achieving academic excellence and institutional development.
