Karachi: Medicam Group of Companies has announced its ongoing commitment to sponsor the RCAK Talent Hunt Programme, aimed at promoting cricket in the region. Khalil Ahmed Nanitalwala, Chairman of Medicam Group, reaffirmed the organization's dedication to cricket development during the inaugural ceremony of the Woodward Trophy U-17 Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament, held at KCCA Stadium. The event marks the second phase of the Talent Hunt Program under the Regional Cricket Association Karachi (RCAK).

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, Nanitalwala expressed pleasure in participating in the program again after 26 years, emphasizing the company's partnership with RCAK to uplift cricket in Karachi. He was joined by his son, Nadeem Omar, President of the association, in support of the initiative. Former Pakistan cricket team captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed, highlighted the importance of club cricket for young players, recalling his own participation in the Talent Hunt Program representing Zone VI, facilitated by Medicam Group.

Syed Muhammad Talha, Vice President of RCA Karachi, lauded the Nainitalwala family's ongoing support for cricket in Karachi, noting its positive impact on young cricketers. Khalid Nafees, Chairman of the RCA Karachi Tournament Committee, and Muhammad Touseef Siddiqui, Joint Secretary, both acknowledged the successful completion of the first phase of the Talent Hunt Program and expressed optimism for the current tournament phase. In the opening match, Zone-VI Whites triumphed over Zone-V Green by 303 runs, with standout performances from batsmen Soman Kabir and Rayan Khan. The event also saw participation from notable guests, underscoring the community's support for cricket development.
