Wah Cantt, August 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Department of English organized a webinar on “The Beauty and Challenges of Writing African Literature in the Diaspora” on 16 August, 2021. Dr. Patricia Jabbeh Wesley, a theorist, author of multiple books and a renowned poetess of African Literature, was the guest speaker. Currently, she is serving as a Professor of English at Pennsylvania State University, UK. The interactive session elaborating African diasporic literature by the poetess ended with a lively question answer session.
Prof. Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Wah joined the session and exchanged thoughts with the guest speaker. A large number of participants, both national and international, attended the webinar. In the end, Associate Professor Dr. Rasib Mahmood, Chairperson, Department of English extended his gratitude to Dr Patricia Jabbeh Wesley for her insightful talk.
