Virtual University Announces Rescheduling Procedure for Missed Final Exams

Lahore, The Virtual University of Pakistan has released detailed instructions for students who need to reschedule missed or unplanned papers from the Fall 2023 final term examinations. This one-time opportunity is designed to accommodate students who were unable to attend their scheduled exams due to unforeseen circumstances.

According to Virtual University of Pakistan, the university has provided a comprehensive guide on how to request a rescheduled examination, including a non-refundable fee requirement that must be paid before the announcement of the Fall 2023 final term results. The deadline for applying for rescheduling is set for Tuesday, 27th February 2024, with the rescheduled exam for both local and overseas students scheduled for Thursday, 29th February 2024.

The procedure for rescheduling involves logging into the Virtual University Learning Management System (VULMS), navigating to the Student Services section, and following the steps outlined to apply for rescheduling of papers. The university emphasizes that the missed papers will be available for rescheduling 24 hours after the original exam time. Students are required to select their preferred city of appearance from a drop-down list, distinguishing between local centers in Pakistan and overseas locations.

Following the submission of a rescheduling request, students will receive a confirmation email from the university, after which they are advised to take a fresh printout of their Exam Entrance Slip from the university’s official datesheet portal. For any queries related to exam rescheduling, students can reach out to the university’s support system via their website or through the provided telephone and UAN numbers.

This initiative by the Virtual University of Pakistan aims to ensure that all students have the opportunity to complete their final term examinations, despite any disruptions they may have faced, and underscores the university’s commitment to accommodating students’ needs while maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
