TURBAT, On October 31, 2023, the Department of Computer Science at the University of Turbat (UoT) hosted an in-depth webinar focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain technologies. The session featured Prof. Dr. Celestine Iwendi, an IEEE Brand Ambassador and a respected faculty member from the University of Bolton, UK, as the main speaker.

According to University of Turbat, the online event not only attracted the UoT faculty and students but also welcomed online guests from different spheres. Prof. Iwendi, with his extensive background in Electronics Engineering, elucidated on how IoT and Blockchain can reshape and innovate multiple sectors. Dr. Rashid Ali, Chairperson of the Computer Science Department, began the session with a warm welcome to the guest speaker and attendees. Dr. Ali acknowledged the invaluable insights Prof. Iwendi brought to the table and also recognized the ongoing support from Prof. Dr. Jan Muhammad, the Vice-Chancellor of UoT, in fostering a culture of advanced technological education and research.
