Lahore, The University of the Punjab is set to host the public defense and viva voce examination of Ph.D. scholar Mr. Munir Ahmad Shahid. The event will take place on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Institute of Polymer and Textile Engineering, focusing on a significant advancement in polymer technology.

According to University of the Punjab, the dissertation titled “Development of Polymeric Ion-Exchange Membranes (IEMs) for Separation of Amino Acids by Electrodialysis” represents a pivotal step in chemical engineering research, particularly in the separation processes used within the industry. The defense will commence at 4:00 p.m., providing a platform for Mr. Shahid to present his research findings to the academic community.
