University of Sindh and American Institute of Pakistan Studies Forge Partnership for Academic Exchange

Jamshoro, A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the University of Sindh Jamshoro and the American Institute of Pakistan Studies to facilitate faculty exchange and collaborative educational and research projects. The agreement, signed by Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiq Kalhoro of the University of Sindh and Dr. Matthew A. Cook of the American Institute, will initially last for three years.

According to University of Sindh, the MoU aims to promote bilateral cooperation in higher education, including the exchange of faculty and students, joint research initiatives, and educational workshops. Both institutions will work together to enhance academic services and utilize resources more effectively to benefit their respective academic communities. The signing ceremony, attended by various academics and officials from both institutions, marked the beginning of a planned series of educational and training initiatives that will include faculty mentoring and academic workshops in both Pakistan and the United States.

Under the terms of the agreement, the University of Sindh and the American Institute of Pakistan Studies will also organize lectures and seminars to foster scholarly exchange and development. This partnership is expected to enhance educational opportunities and cultural understanding between the two countries, with provisions for extending or modifying the agreement after the initial three-year period.
