University of Haripur Provides Wheelchairs to Support Disabled Students

Haripur, The University of Haripur has recently distributed six wheelchairs to disabled students, enhancing accessibility and support for students with disabilities. This initiative includes five wheelchairs for students on campus and one for a student from the university’s affiliated colleges, marking a significant step towards inclusivity.

According to The University of Haripur, the effort to provide these wheelchairs began with a specific request from a disabled student to the University Registrar, Mr. Riaz Muhammad. Responding to this need, Mr. Muhammad initiated the process by contacting the Project Director and overseeing the necessary procedures to secure the mobility aids. After two months of dedicated efforts, the wheelchairs were successfully arranged and distributed.

Mr. Muhammad expressed his gratitude for the successful arrangement and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to processing similar requests. Two more students have already applied for wheelchairs, and the university is actively working to fulfill these needs promptly.

The University of Haripur remains committed to creating a caring and cooperative environment that provides equal opportunities for all its students and staff.
