Haripur, In a significant development for academic and medical collaboration, The University of Haripur and Durrani Hospital Haripur have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement aims to advance joint educational and research initiatives, benefitting both university students and staff.
According to The University of Haripur, the MoU signing ceremony was attended by notable figures including former Provincial Minister Ijaz Khan Durrani, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shafiq Ur Rahman, Registrar Riaz Muhammad, and teams from both institutions. The partnership will focus on laboratory research and medical facilities, enhancing the practical application of academic studies and improving healthcare services available to the university community.
The event also served as a platform for Mr. Ejaz Durrani and his delegation to tour the university’s various departments, where they noted the rapid progress the university has made since its inception in 2008. The visit underscored the longstanding ties between the university and Mr. Durrani, who was instrumental in the allocation of the current campus during his tenure as Provincial Forest Minister.
Both parties expressed a commitment to deepen their cooperation moving forward, aiming to create more opportunities for development and innovation.
