University of Haripur Hosts Seerah Quiz, Prepares for Oral Competition Finals

Haripur, The Department of Islamic and Religious Studies at the University of Haripur successfully conducted a written Seerah Quiz test, engaging a large number of students in a scholarly examination of Islamic teachings and history. The quiz attracted significant student interest, with 112 participants demonstrating their knowledge in the written segment.

According to The University of Haripur, out of 162 students who initially applied, 124 completed the registration process and met the necessary criteria to participate. From these, 112 students took the written test, and 32 were selected to advance to the oral competition based on their high performance. The oral competition is scheduled for May 16, 2024, where finalists will vie for cash prizes and certificates in a demonstration of their deep understanding of Seerah.

Dr. Junaid Akbar Khan, Head of the Department of Islamic and Religious Studies, praised the students for their enthusiasm and the high level of competency shown during the quiz. He highlighted the importance of the Seerah Quiz in promoting a greater appreciation and understanding of Islamic history among the youth.
