Haripur, A team from the University of Haripur, led by Prof. Abid Farid, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Physical and Applied Sciences, and Dr. Muhammad Jahangir, Director of ORIC and Chairman of the Department of Food Science and Technology, recently visited Qarshi Industries Pvt. Ltd. The visit aimed to explore potential research projects and ensure effective collaboration under a previously signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to The University of Haripur, the delegation met with Mr. Shahab, Head of the Jam-e-Sheeren Division at Qarshi Industries, and Mr. Sohail Anwar, Head of QHRC. During these meetings, it was agreed to establish a working group to regularly follow up on the mutually agreed terms of the MoU. This initiative is designed to track progress, address any challenges, and ensure that both parties uphold their commitments and derive mutual benefits from the agreement.

The proactive steps taken by both institutions underscore their commitment to leveraging their partnership for impactful research outcomes. A visit by a relevant group of officials from the University of Haripur to Qarshi Industries is scheduled for the coming week to further this collaboration.
