LAHORE, UCP Music Society, representing the University of Central Punjab, made a significant mark at the prestigious All Pakistan Music Conference. Participants from the society vied in six distinct categories and emerged victorious in each one.
According to University of Central Punjab, individual accolades included Mamoona Sajid clinching gold in the folk category, Nazar Abbas securing bronze in the Classical category, Mikael Riaz bagging bronze for percussion (Tabla), Hamza Aftab winning bronze in the Ghazal category, Ghulam Shabbir taking home silver in the strings (Rubab) segment, and Rachel Charlotte acquiring bronze in the light music class.
