Two-third (66%) of Pakistanis report that they have doubts about the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine; 49% of global respondents claim this: Gallup International Survey in collaboration with Gallup Pakistan 

Islamabad, March 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, two-third (66%) of Pakistanis report that they have doubts about the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine; 49% of global respondents claim this.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Thinking specifically about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) how strongly do you agree or disagree with each of the following statements? – I have doubts that/whether the vaccines against Coronavirus are really effective.” In response to this question in Pakistan, 23% said strongly agree, 43% said agree, 17% said disagree, 10% said strongly disagree, and 7% didn’t know or gave no response.
