Islamabad, The Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya (TNFJ) announced the commencement of the “Days of Piety,” featuring funeral gatherings and processions aimed at fostering a path of righteousness to combat global atrocities. The events, which took place in Islamabad, highlighted the teachings and life of Imam Muhammad Taqi (a.s.) as a guide for addressing contemporary social and political challenges.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the gatherings were marked by speeches from scholars and preachers who emphasized the importance of emulating the life and virtues of Imam Muhammad Taqi (a.s.). Addressing the assembly at Bargah Masafari Sham Dhalilah Gulbarg, Secretary General Allama Raja Basharat Hussain Emami stressed the need for adopting the Prophet Muhammad’s and his family’s pathway of piety as a response to the cruelty and oppression observed worldwide. He pointed out that the current severe challenges demand a commitment to the high moral standards exemplified by Imam Taqi, renowned for his asceticism and piety.
Allama Emami called for unity beyond personal and group differences, urging practical and brave efforts to quell internal conflicts and promote national advancement. Other notable speakers, including Allama Ali Nasir Hussaini Talhar and Zakir Ali Raza Khokhar, also contributed to the discussions, echoing the theme of moral integrity and resilience against injustice.
The event also featured remarks from Risa Zainab Alwiya during a gathering under the auspices of Anjuman Kinizan Imam al-Asr al-Zaman (A.S.) at Shaab Abi Talib (AS). She highlighted how Imam Muhammad Taqi, despite his young age, upheld the virtues of his ancestors, challenging oppressive rulers and upholding the standards of truth and righteousness.
