Karachi, In a bold statement, Sirajul Haque, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, has vowed to lay the foundations for a safe and prosperous Pakistan through the upcoming vote scheduled for February 8. He expressed his commitment to resolving the challenges faced by the Malakand Division, aiming to bring peace and prosperity to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.
According to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Haque outlined his comprehensive plan for the region if elected. His vision includes providing employment opportunities for the youth and ensuring that the Malakand Division receives its share in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. He emphasized the need to integrate the region with the rest of the country through improved road networks and infrastructure development. Haque also highlighted his intention to focus on redirecting resources towards the poor and establishing the Ushar and Zakat systems to eliminate usury.
Haque described February 8 as a day of liberation from oppression, injustice, unrest, and inflation, stating that the election would defeat the loyalists of America. He reiterated that Pakistan was founded in the name of Islam and that the implementation of the Islamic system is central to resolving the country’s issues. Haque criticized the current exploitative system, pointing out the increasing wealth disparity between the rich and the poor, and the challenges faced by the common people in accessing education and employment opportunities.
Further, Haque addressed the issue of political dynasties in Pakistan, expressing his desire to end the rule of a few families and establish a true republic. His remarks reflect a commitment to significant political and social reform, with an emphasis on Islamic principles as the guiding force for the nation’s progress.
