Sindh University Sets Examination Dates, Fee Submission Requirements

Jamshoro, The University of Sindh has announced that semester examinations across all academic fields will begin on May 20, with a firm policy that examination slips will not be issued to students who have failed to submit their fees.

According to University of Sindh, the decision was made during a significant meeting chaired by Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Kalhoro, Shaikh-ul-Jamia Sindh. The meeting, attended by key university officials including Pro Vice Chancellors of Main and Lad Campuses and the Registrar, emphasized the necessity of fee submission for maintaining university operations and student facilities.

It was noted that out of 18,000 students, 13,000 have already paid their fees. The remaining 5,000 students are urged to settle their dues by May 15, as failure to do so will result in being barred from the forthcoming exams. The university has made it clear that maintaining financial discipline is crucial for the provision of services like transport and hostel facilities.

Dr. Kalhoro highlighted the operational challenges faced by the university due to delayed fee payments and stressed the importance of timely financial contributions from students to ensure smooth academic and administrative functions. The e-portal for fee submission will remain open until the deadline to facilitate this process.
