Jamshoro, The examinations of the first semester of bachelor degree programs have started in Sindh University Jamshoro and its various campuses. Papers were taken in morning and evening shifts in different departments at Allama II Qazi campus. Visiting examination blocks set up in various academic departments, including the Faculty of Arts, Shaikh Al Jamia Sindh Professor (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Kalhoro inspected papers of both shifts, expressing confidence in the arrangements.

According to University of Sindh, the first semester examinations have begun at the main campus in Jamshoro, as well as at its Elsa Qazi Campus in Hyderabad, Ms. Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Campus in Dadu, Lad Campus in Badin, Thatta Campus, and Syed Ul Hindu Shah Campus in Nowshahroferoz. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Muhammad Siddiq Kalhoro, visited the Institute of Commerce and Management during the morning shift, where he was welcomed by Dean Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Javed Ahmad Chandio. Dr. Kalhoro was briefed on the preparations and arrangements for the exams.

Dr. Kalhoro also visited different blocks, interacted with students, and gathered information about the examinations. During the second shift, he inspected various academic departments within the Faculty of Arts, including Psychology, Philosophy, Political Science, Criminology, Sociology, Public Administration, Sindhi, International Relations, Urdu, General History, and Muslim History. He expressed satisfaction with the examination preparations and arrangements.

During a visit to the Department of Philosophy, the chairperson, Prof. Amar Sindhu, briefed Dr. Kalhoro about departmental issues, including a shortage of classes. Dr. Kalhoro assured a prompt resolution to the problems. The Vice Chancellor also inquired about the students’ experiences during the ongoing examinations.

Accompanying Dr. Kalhoro were Registrar Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Ali Jariko, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Hamadullah Kakipoto, Moderator of Semester Examinations Muhammad Mashuq Siddiqui, Director Campus Security Dr. Ghulam Saqib Barro, In-charge Arts Faculty Building Dr. Makhmour Bukhari, Provost Boys Hostels Dr. Pansand Ali Khoso, and heads of various departments.
