Lahore, Punjab University’s School of Communication Studies is set to honor Salman Ghani, a distinguished journalist and alumnus, in a special ceremony for his recent receipt of the Presidential Medal for Excellence. The event will take place today at 10:30 am in Al-Razi Hall, Undergraduate Block.
According to University of the Punjab, Salman Ghani, who is an executive editor at Dunya News Group, will be celebrated for his contributions to journalism. The ceremony will feature notable participants including Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Sajjad Mir, and university faculty such as Dr. Mujahid Ali Mansoori, Dr. Aslam Dogar, and Salman Abid. The event will be presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Mehmood.
The tribute recognizes Ghani’s longstanding dedication to journalism and his role in enhancing the media landscape in Pakistan, reflecting the university’s commitment to acknowledging the achievements of its alumni.
