KARACHI, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has congratulated the recently elected office-bearers of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) on their electoral victory.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, the PPP Chairman extended warm wishes to all the fresh office holders of the SCBA, singling out its president, Shahzad Shaukat, and secretary, Ali Imran Syed. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed optimism about the elected members’ future contributions, stating, “I anticipate that the fresh office bearers will unwaveringly advocate for the Constitution’s primacy and the nation’s rule of law.”

Bhutto Zardari also highlighted the SCBA’s regular annual elections as evidence of commitment to democratic principles and robust institutional frameworks. Reflecting on his party’s legacy, he emphasized that the PPP was instrumental in bestowing the nation’s first unanimous constitution. “Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto committed three decades to the political pursuit of reinstating the Constitution in Pakistan,” he recalled, adding that the PPP remains steadfast in its mission to collaborate with the legal fraternity to reinforce the Constitution, Parliament, and democratic values.
