Lahore, The Pakistan men’s national selection committee gathered in Lahore on Thursday for a crucial meeting ahead of the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand. The committee, led by Chief Selector Wahab Riaz, focused on selecting the national team for the five-match series.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the meeting saw active deliberations by committee members Tauseef Ahmed, Wajahatullah Wasti, and Wasim Haider. Rao Iftikhar Anjum, a consultant member, was also present, while Kamran Akmal is scheduled to attend the following day’s meeting. This assembly is pivotal in shaping the team’s composition for the challenging series ahead.

The committee’s discussions are a prelude to the training camp for T20I probables, which will commence soon at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
