Lahore, The Pakistan men’s national selection committee gathered in Lahore on Thursday for a crucial meeting ahead of the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand. The committee, led by Chief Selector Wahab Riaz, focused on selecting the national team for the five-match series.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the meeting saw active deliberations by committee members Tauseef Ahmed, Wajahatullah Wasti, and Wasim Haider. Rao Iftikhar Anjum, a consultant member, was also present, while Kamran Akmal is scheduled to attend the following day’s meeting. The committee’s discussions are a prelude to the training camp for T20I probables, which will commence soon at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
