Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Ready for T20I Series Against England in Birmingham

Birmingham, The Pakistan women’s cricket team is set to face England in the first match of a three-game T20I series at Edgbaston Cricket Ground tomorrow. This series is a part of a larger tour that includes three One Day Internationals (ODIs) as part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the series will commence at 2:30 pm local time in Birmingham, followed by matches in Northampton and Leeds on the 17th and 19th of May, respectively. The ODIs will take place from the 23rd to the 29th of May in Derby, Taunton, and Chelmsford.

Nida Dar, the captain of the Pakistan women’s team, expressed confidence in her team’s preparation and readiness to compete against one of the top teams in the world. Dar emphasized the importance of the series as a benchmark for the players’ performance leading up to the T20 World Cup. The tour will not only challenge the team but also allow the management to fine-tune their strategy and squad composition ahead of the global tournament.

The squad for Pakistan includes experienced and emerging players, while England’s team, led by Heather Knight, also features a strong lineup, setting the stage for a competitive series between the two cricketing nations.
