Pakistan Olympic Association Announces International Executive Training in Sports Management


Islamabad, The Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) has officially opened applications for the prestigious International Executive Training Course in Sports Management (MEMOS), sponsored by the IOC Olympic Solidarity. This announcement invites national sports professionals to enhance their organizational management skills through a globally recognized program set to span from August 2024 to September 2025.



According to Pakistan Olympic Association, the MEMOS program aims to develop the capacities of individuals working within national or international sports organizations. It includes a series of both online and residential sessions across various international locations including Greece, Morocco, Cyprus, and Switzerland. The curriculum is designed to provide practical insights and strategies in sports management, concluding with a defense and presentation of personal research projects.



Olympic Solidarity will cover the tuition, certain travel costs, and accommodation during sessions in Lausanne. However, participants will be responsible for additional expenses such as local travel, meals outside of Lausanne modules, and visa fees. Candidates interested in participating are required to submit a comprehensive application package by May 20, 2024, including educational transcripts, a detailed CV, and a letter of support from their sporting organization.
