Pakistan Cricket Board Announces New Composition of Board of Governors

Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially declared the formation of its new Board of Governors (BoG), aligning with Paragraph 10 of the PCB Constitution 2014. This announcement introduces a mix of nominated individuals and representatives from various cricket associations and corporations, marking a new phase in the administration of cricket in Pakistan.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the newly formed Board of Governors includes:

1. Mr. Mustafa Ramday, as one of the PCB Patron’s nominees.

2. Mr. Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, also a PCB Patron’s nominee.

3. Mr. Sajjad Ali Khokhar, President of the Regional Cricket Association AJK.

4. Mr. Zafarullah Jadgal, President of the Regional Cricket Association Dera Murad Jamali.

5. Mr. Tanveer Ahmed, President of the Regional Cricket Association Larkana.

6. Mr. Tariq Sarwar, President of the Regional Cricket Association Bahawalpur.

7. A representative from Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL).

8. A representative from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

9. A representative from Ghani Glass Limited.

10. A representative from Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV).

11. The Secretary to the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination, or an officer nominated by him, will serve as an ex-officio non-voting member.

This reconstitution of the Board of Governors signifies PCB’s commitment to governance and strategic decision-making, aimed at promoting and enhancing the sport of cricket in Pakistan at both domestic and international levels.
