Islamabad, August 09, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, only 5% Pakistanis admit to overeating on Eid al-Adha.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Some people eat the Qurbani meat cautiously with moderation during Eid al-Adha, whereas others indulge in overeating. Kindly tell us whether you eat the Qurbani meat with moderation or tend to overeat?” In response, 90% said they eat with moderation, 5% said they overeat, and 4% said that they don’t know or gave no response.

This press release is part of a detailed report Gallup Pakistan is doing on Eid al-Adha sacrifice and spending in year 2023. The report would be accessible on Gallup website www.gallup.com.pk.
