Abu Dhabi, In a thrilling encounter during the ninth match of the Abu Dhabi T10 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, the New York Strikers secured a narrow win over the Northern Warriors. The Strikers, led by a strong bowling performance, restricted the Warriors to 88 for 3 in 10 overs, despite a hard-fought battle by the latter.

According to Rabtaa Sports, the match saw an impressive performance from Colin Munro of Northern Warriors, who scored an unbeaten 44 off 27 balls, including three boundaries and three sixes. However, it was the New York Strikers who ultimately triumphed, thanks to vital contributions from Muhammad Waseem and Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Despite the Strikers initially anticipating an easy win, the Northern Warriors’ bowlers, particularly Angelo Mathews, Abhimanyu Mithun, and Tabraiz Shamsi, put up a strong resistance by each taking two wickets.

The match was a nail-biter, with the New York Strikers winning by three wickets and only five balls to spare. This victory by the Strikers ended the Northern Warriors’ streak of two consecutive wins. Notably, Sunil Narine was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.
