Faisalabad, The National Textile University (NTU) in Faisalabad held the opening ceremony of its Intra-Departmental Sports for the Department of Textile Engineering (Textile Processing). The event, which took place at the university’s cricket ground, marked the beginning of a series of sporting activities within the department.

According to National Textile University, Dr. Amjed Javid, Coordinator of the Department of Textile Processing, inaugurated the event. The ceremony was attended by several faculty members and university officials, including Dr. Usman Zubair and Dr. Muhammad Irfan Siyal, both Assistant Professors and Sports Coordinators for the Department of Textile Engineering – Textile Processing. Ms. Neelam Mughees, Mr. Waqar Ahmed, the Convener of the Sports Committee, Muhammad Aslam, Deputy Director of Planning and Development, and Mr. Pervaiz Akhtar and Imran Ali, Sports Officers, were also present.

The opening ceremony signals the commencement of various sports activities within the department, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among the students.
