Mianwali, In a notable accomplishment, a student team from the Electrical Engineering Department of Namal University Mianwali, led by Dr. Sami Ud Din, has clinched the runners-up position in the Robotics category at AI-Innofest 2024. The competition, hosted by the Center of Excellence – Artificial Intelligence at Bahria University, provided a platform for participants to demonstrate innovative applications of AI in robotics.

According to Namal College Mianwali, the team’s success at AI-Innofest 2024 highlights the exceptional quality of education and emphasis on practical lab experience provided to students at Namal University. This focus on applied knowledge, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, underscores the institution’s commitment to preparing students for the challenges of the modern technological landscape.

Faisalabad, The University of Faisalabad’s Department of Dermatology and the Society for Skin Care hosted the TUF Skincare Expo 2024 on February 29, showcasing the innovative talents of students in the skincare industry. The expo featured around 15 entrepreneurs and various brands, offering a diverse range of skincare and cosmetic products, perfumes, and more.

According to The University of Faisalabad, the event attracted chief guests such as Dr. Badie Idris, Dr. Nazia Ehsan, Dr. Ghulam Abbas, Dr. Shahid Shah, Prof. Dr. Aamir Choudhry, and Prof. Dr. Tanzeela Khalid, who applauded the students’ work and encouraged them to pursue their entrepreneurial ventures. The students launched numerous brands during the expo, introducing serums, creams, mists, fragrances, soaps, scented candles, moisturizers, and organic makeup products. Brands such as Dampy Damp, Homemade with Love, and Fragrance Fiesta stood out for their quality and innovation.

The expo also emphasized the importance of nutrition in skincare, with students presenting food products aimed at promoting healthy skin. The event served as a crucial networking platform, connecting students with industry professionals, clinics, aesthetic equipment vendors, and pharmaceutical companies. It provided insights into the latest skincare treatments, technologies, and products.

A competition among the formulators was a highlight of the expo, with a panel of judges evaluating entries for creativity, innovation, and quality. Showstopper, Aleto Body Lab, and Curify by KY were recognized for their exceptional contributions.
