Lahore, The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore’s Sports Department hosted the 18th Mr. UET Lahore Annual Body Building Competition on February 28, 2024, in the University Sports Auditorium Hall, marking a significant event in the university’s sports calendar. The competition distinguished the top bodybuilders of the institution, celebrating physical fitness and discipline among the student body.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Hassan Akhtar of the Geological Engineering Department was crowned Mr. UET Senior, while Mr. Samuel Rafique from the Electrical Engineering Department (New Campus) took home the title of Mr. UET Junior. The event featured intense competition among participants, showcasing their dedication and hard work in bodybuilding.

The highlight of the event was a show-stopping performance by Mr. Khubab Gul, titled Mr. KPK-2024, who demonstrated expert posing techniques. The Vice-Chancellor of UET Lahore, Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, graced the event as the chief guest, awarding cash prizes, trophies, and belts to the winners. Mr. UET Senior received a prize of Rs. 15,000, while Mr. UET Junior was awarded Rs. 10,000. Additionally, each participant was honored with Rs. 1,500, recognizing their effort and participation in the competition.

Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat commended the bodybuilders and the Sports Department for their efforts in organizing such a commendable event, which not only promotes health and fitness but also fosters a spirit of competition and camaraderie among students.
