Islamabad, July 25, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet Pakistan, more than half (53%) Pakistanis at the end of last year believed unemployment would increase in the next six months.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “In your opinion, in next 6 months, unemployment in Pakistan will be…?” In response, 4% said it will be a lot better, 21% said it will be better, 17% said there will be no change, 33% said it will be worse, 20% said it will be a lot worse and 5% said they do not know.
