MEET-UP WITH PRO-VC (ADMIN) – NUMS ART and MEDIA SOCIETY MEMBERS AND HIGH ACHIEVER STUDENTS

Islamabad, The National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) held a special gathering at the NUMS Research Facilitation Center to honor the artistic and academic achievements of students from the NUMS Art and Media Society (NAMS) and other high-achieving students across various departments. The event, presided over by Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Major General Muhammad Salman Ashraf, was designed to celebrate and encourage the diverse talents within the university community.

According to National University of Medical Sciences, the meeting featured a series of presentations by students who have excelled in both academic and non-academic fields. High achievers like Zahra Rauf, an alumna of the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program – Pakistan, and Aimen Adnan, owner of the startup “Shop Green,” shared their experiences and successes, highlighting the broad range of opportunities and initiatives available to NUMS students. The event also included an exhibition of student artwork ranging from paintings and sketches to digital art and videography, demonstrating the creative capabilities of the NAMS members.

The achievements of these students in national competitions were also showcased, with entries in contests such as the Art Contest at the Pakistan Peace Festival and the Poster Contest at the National Counter Terrorism Authority. These accomplishments underscore the dedication and competitive spirit of NUMS students, bringing recognition and pride to the university.

In recognition of their efforts and as a token of encouragement, Major General Muhammad Salman Ashraf awarded certificates of excellence to the participants. The ceremony not only acknowledged their hard work but also motivated them to continue striving for excellence in their future endeavors.
