Lahore, February 15, 2022 (PPI-OT):Punjab University administration has purchased two mechanical sweepers for cleaning roads of the campus. In this regard, an inaugural ceremony was held outside Vice Chancellor’s office here on Tuesday. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, Registrar Muhammad Rauf Nawaz, Resident Officer-I Col (r) Umer Khalid, Resident Officer-II Jaleel Tariq, sanitary inspector Chaudhary Mushtaq and others participated in the event. Giving the briefing, Mr Jalil Tariq said that these sweepers would clean PU roads more efficiently and save human resource. He said that the one sweeper had cost Rs1.25 million.
