Majority of Pakistanis Believe Afghan Refugees Should Return to Afghanistan, Reveals Gallup Survey

Islamabad, A recent survey conducted by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan revealed that a significant majority of Pakistanis, 77%, believe that Afghan refugees should return to Afghanistan, with only 14% opining they should stay in Pakistan. This survey reflects the national sentiment towards the long-standing issue of Afghan refugees in the country.

According to Gallup Pakistan, the survey sampled adult men and women from various regions of Pakistan to gauge public opinion on whether Afghan refugees should remain in Pakistan or return to their home country. The findings show a clear majority favoring the repatriation of refugees, with 9% of respondents undecided or not responding to the question.
