LAHORE, A cohesive initiative aimed at bolstering breast cancer awareness, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in partnership with various health organizations recently orchestrated the #PinkTogether: A Breast Cancer Awareness Event.

According to Lahore University of Management Sciences, held on October 27, this event sought to educate and destigmatize breast cancer conversations, particularly for the female community at LUMS. The initiative was a joint effort involving multiple departments at LUMS. The program started with a panel discussion delving into symptoms, treatments, championing survivors, and discussing the psychological toll on caretakers of affected individuals. Subsequent activities featured a self-check tutorial conducted by a breast cancer surgeon and a full-day medical camp stationed at the LUMS Medical Centre. The day’s events wrapped up with an awareness walk, championed by LCSS students, faculty, and event partners.
