Lahore, The Lahore School of Economics has achieved accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for two of its undergraduate programs. The accredited programs are the BS Double Major in Accounting and Finance and the BS Double Major in Economics and Accounting. This accreditation provides students with exemptions from eight of the fourteen ACCA examination papers, streamlining their path to becoming certified accountants.
According to Lahore School of Economics, this new accreditation aims to enhance the academic offerings and career prospects for students enrolled in these specific programs. It represents a significant milestone for the institution in its commitment to aligning its curriculum with international professional standards, thus facilitating a smoother transition for graduates into the global finance and accounting industries.
The exemption from more than half of the ACCA’s required examination papers underlines the comprehensive nature of the education provided in these programs, preparing students not only academically but also professionally to meet the challenges of the finance and accounting sectors.
