Khurrum Sher Zaman Presses for Resolution in NA-241 Election Tribunal Case

Karachi, In a recent update regarding the NA-241 Election Tribunal case, Khurrum Sher Zaman, a member of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Core Committee and the party’s candidate for NA-241, has highlighted significant developments.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the tribunal judge, Honourable Justice Adnan Chaudry, has issued a final notice to Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, the current Member of the National Assembly for NA-241, mandating his appearance before the tribunal on May 14th or to submit his response. Justice Chaudry has stated that a decision will be rendered in Baig’s absence if he fails to appear or respond.

Sher Zaman accused Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, whom he referred to as the “blue-eyed boy of Asif Ali Zardari,” of deliberately avoiding the tribunal hearings. He contends that Baig and his party, the PPP, are fully aware of the electoral loss in NA-241 by a margin of 60,000 votes.

The PTI candidate commended Justice Adnan Chaudhry for his stern approach, ensuring that legal proceedings are adhered to and emphasizing the importance of Baig’s compliance by the set date to avoid a default judgment.
