According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Imad Wasim, acclaimed as the All-Rounder of HBL PSL 8, has been acquired by Islamabad United in the Platinum category. Concurrently, Hasan Ali’s transfer to Karachi Kings represents a strategic player trade, with Karachi Kings also obtaining Islamabad United’s first-round silver pick in exchange for their second-round silver pick.

Additionally, the PCB release mentioned successful relegation requests from various franchises in preparation for the HBL PSL 2024 Player Draft. Lahore Qalandars’ Mirza Tahir Baig, Islamabad United’s Rumman Raees, and Karachi Kings’ Mir Hamza have been moved from the Gold to Silver category.
