Jamaat-e-Islami Muzaffarabad Demands Permanent Salaries for MNCH Employees

Muzaffarabad, Raja Aftab Ahmad Khan, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami District Muzaffarabad, has expressed firm support for the permanent payment of salaries to all employees of Mother and Child Health (MNCH) services. This support was conveyed during a meeting with a delegation from MNCH, emphasizing the importance of uninterrupted health services and fair employment practices.

According to Jamaat-E-Islami Pakistan, Khan stressed that depriving people of essential health facilities is unacceptable and called for a reduction in additional expenses to prioritize health services. He advocated against direct appointments and emphasized the need for prioritizing the adjustment of current employees on a permanent basis. Khan warned that if the government does not alter its approach, Jamaat-e-Islami is prepared to protest alongside these employees, holding the government responsible for any ensuing issues.

Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan, has also demanded the immediate permanentization of these MNCH employees. He asserted that government operations should not be influenced by personal preferences but should adhere to fair and just rules. Dr. Khan emphasized that Rule 1248, which likely refers to a relevant employment regulation, should be upheld to ensure that all employees are made permanent.

The stance taken by Jamaat-e-Islami leaders reflects their commitment to ensuring fair treatment and job security for health service employees, and highlights the broader issue of employment practices within government departments in the region.
