Islamabad and Rawalpindi to Commemorate Azadar Syed Zakir Hussain Hussaini with Rituals and Processions

Islamabad, The religious community mourns the passing of Azadar Syed Zakir Hussain Hussaini, who was recently laid to rest in the local cemetery of the federal capital. A series of commemorative rituals and processions are scheduled in Islamabad and Rawalpindi to honor his memory.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, a funeral service for Azadar Syed Zakir Hussain Hussaini will be held on Tuesday, December 12, at the Central Imam Bargah, G62, near Lal Quarter in Islamabad. The service, set to begin at 3:00 p.m., will be addressed by Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi. Following this, at 4:00 p.m., the main mourning procession of the Rawalpindi Division on the occasion of the martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra will depart from Dhok Rata.

In Rawalpindi, Allama Qamar Zaidi and other mourners will address a funeral meeting at Awan House. The main mourning procession to honor Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her) will leave from Awan House Dhok Rata Rawalpindi under the supervision of Jarrar Hussain Jafari on the 3rd of Jumadi al-Thani at ten o’clock at night. Before this procession, a funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 pm, featuring speeches by Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Zakir Ghulam Farid, Zakir Hasnain Abbas, and others. Various celebrants and salutators will offer their prayers at Bargah Masooma Kunin. The procession will then proceed through designated routes to reach the Imambargah Kashmirian.

Additionally, a women’s assembly is scheduled at the same location at 9 am, where various remembrances will address the gathering.

Moreover, the annual Grand Majlis Aza established by late Haji Syed Tafsir Hussain Kazmi and organized by Pasran Haji Syed Karam Hussain Shah Kazmi will take place at the Darbar Sakhi Shah Pyara Chauhar Harpal Rawalpindi on December 17, the first Sunday of Jumadi Al Thani. Eminent scholars and remembrancers, including Allama Agha Ali Hussain Qumi, Allama Syed Sajid Hussain Taqvi, Allama Zulfiqar Haider Naqvi, and others, will address the Majlis. A procession is also planned before the assembly at 8 am.
