International Day of Murtazvi Commences in Celebration of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib’s Birth

Rawalpindi, The International Day of Murtazvi (AS), celebrating the birth of Ameerul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), began on Tuesday, as founded by Qaid Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi. The program, organized by various organizations and religious institutions, featured Milad Conferences and seminars, where scholars and preachers spoke on the life and teachings of Hazrat Ali, emphasizing his role as a beacon for humanity and a symbol of salvation from oppression.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the event included speeches from notable scholars and preachers. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, addressing a meeting under the auspices of Syed Kashif Kazmi Brothers, highlighted Hazrat Ali’s (A.S.) contributions to humanity, including his teachings on knowledge, wisdom, bravery, and generosity. He emphasized that Hazrat Ali (A.S.) is seen as a savior by the afflicted and imprisoned people worldwide, helping everyone without discrimination. Zaidi further stated that the Muslim Ummah, by following Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib’s (A.S.) example, could overcome the challenges and conspiracies of global colonialism.

The celebration also included recitations by the country’s well-known naat reciter Farhat Kazmi, Zakrawasif Mashhadi, Salman Nasir, Qazi Wa Faabas, and other reciters who performed qasida. Maulana Malik Ajlal Haiderul Hyderi, speaking at Imambargah Shaheedan Karbala, stressed that conspiracies against Pakistan and the Islamic world could be thwarted by following in the footsteps of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him). He urged the Islamic world to emulate Aswa Haider Karar (A.S.) as a practical slogan to confront modern challenges.

Sayeda Zainab Alawiya emphasized the importance of Hazrat Ali’s (A.S.) love as a key to success in both worlds and as a means of welfare and salvation for those in suffering. She highlighted that the name of Ali (A.S.) continues to be a symbol of victory and resilience in difficult times.

The event concluded with a poetry recitation, celebrating the life and teachings of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib (A.S.), which continues to inspire and guide millions around the world.
