Lahore, Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from international cricket, concluding an illustrious eight-year career with the national team. The 34-year-old cricketer has been a vital part of the Pakistan cricket team since his debut in May 2015.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Imad made his international debut against Zimbabwe and went on to represent Pakistan in 55 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 66 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Throughout his career, he took 109 wickets and scored 1,472 runs. Imad has been a crucial member of the Pakistan squad, contributing significantly to several major tournaments, including the 2017 Champions Trophy, the 2016 T20 World Cup, the 2019 World Cup, and the 2021 T20 World Cup.
In his statement, Imad expressed his gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and highlighted that representing Pakistan was a dream come true.
