IIUI President Inspects New Facilities at Shariah Academy’s Campus in Islamabad

Islamabad, The President of the International Islamic University (IIU), H.E. Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, conducted a detailed inspection of the newly built facilities at the Shariah Academy’s campus, which include a hostel, medical center, and a library block. These developments are part of an ongoing infrastructural overhaul at the university guided by its strategic plan.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, Project Director Mr. Amir Ishtiaq provided a briefing on the progress of the Shariah Academy’s Hostel construction, indicating that the project is nearing completion. President Alotaibi emphasized the need for expediting the finishing work to make the hostel operational soon.

During his visit to the Medical Center, Dr. Hathal was informed by the In-Charge of the Medical Center, Dr. Abdul Wakeel Hussain, about the facilities available, including the operationalization of new services. The center now includes labs and dedicated emergency beds, with a directive from Dr. Hathal to install an X-Ray machine to enhance diagnostic capabilities.

The President also toured the new library block designed exclusively for male students and scholars, where he instructed that the facilities be well-equipped and opened for use at the earliest. His satisfaction with the rapid progress of these infrastructural additions was evident as he was accompanied by key university officials, including Vice Presidents Dr. Abdul Raheman and Dr. Ahmed Shuja Sayed.

This series of visits underscores the university’s commitment to enhancing its campus resources to better serve its students and faculty.
