Governor Punjab Visits PMAS-AAUR Sub-Campus in Attock, Pledges Support for Swift Completion

Attock, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the Governor of Punjab and Chancellor of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), visited the university’s sub-campus in Attock today. Accompanied by Prof Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Vice Chancellor, and the Deputy Commissioner of Attock, the Governor assessed the ongoing developments and the academic environment of the campus.

According to Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University – Rawalpindi, during his visit, Prof Dr. Muhammad Naeem provided a comprehensive briefing on the history, current progress, and future plans for the Sub-Campus Attock. He emphasized the university administration’s commitment to advancing the campus’s completion to fully operational status as swiftly as possible.

The briefing was also attended by Prof Dr. Ikram Ali Malik, Director of UIMS; Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Director of Planning and Development; and Dr. Rifat Hayat, Director of Sub-Campus Attock. They collectively highlighted the efforts being made to enhance the academic standards and infrastructure of the campus.

Governor Khan expressed his appreciation for the Vice Chancellor’s efforts in elevating the university’s academic standards. He assured full cooperation from his office for the smooth functioning of academic and administrative activities at the university, stressing the importance of the Sub-Campus for the local community and its role in the broader educational landscape of Punjab.

The visit underscores the provincial government’s support for educational initiatives and its commitment to ensuring that the necessary resources are allocated to complete the Sub-Campus Attock, thereby enabling it to serve its academic purpose effectively.
