German Consul General Visits Jamia Balochistan to Discuss Educational Collaboration

Quetta, Dr. Rudiger Lotts, the German Consul General, recently visited Jamia Balochistan, where he met with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai and other university officials to discuss various educational and research initiatives and the potential for future collaborations between Jamia Balochistan and German higher education institutions.

According to University of Balochistan, the meeting covered a wide range of topics including the university’s current educational and research activities, future developmental plans, and the potential for partnerships in fields such as modern research, archaeology, culture, tourism, and the broader educational system of the province. Prof. Dr. Bazai emphasized the importance of international cooperation in higher education and research, noting that such collaborations are crucial for the advancement of archaeological research and educational projects at Jamia Balochistan.

Dr. Lotts highlighted the longstanding relationship between German universities and Jamia Balochistan, expressing a commitment to continue and expand this cooperation in various academic and research domains. During his visit, Dr. Lotts toured several departments of the university, visited the Jamia Archaeology Museum, and expressed his appreciation for the institution’s efforts.

The visit concluded with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bazai presenting a commemorative shield to Dr. Lotts as a token of appreciation for the enduring partnership between the institutions.
