Faisalabad, National Textile University hosted the opening ceremony of the 2024 Inter-Departmental Tug of War Championship on its Cricket Ground. The event featured a spirited competition between the BS Textile Engineering (KNT) team and the School of Arts and Design team, with Textile Engineering emerging victorious.

According to National Textile University, Mr. Muhammad Jawad, a lecturer from the School of Arts and Design, inaugurated the event, marking the start of what promises to be an exciting series of matches. The opening contest ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of the engineering students. Sports Officers Mr. Pervez Akhtar and Mr. Imran Ali were present to oversee the proceedings and ensure fair play.
