Dr. Javed Mughal Assesses Injured Pakistani Cricketers at NCA

Karachi, Dr. Javed Mughal, a UK-based consultant sports physiotherapist, has recently evaluated Pakistani right-arm pacers Arshad Iqbal and Zeeshan Zameer at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore. Both players are currently dealing with complex ankle injuries. Dr. Mughal is also set to assess left-arm wrist spinner Sufiyan Muqeem, who is facing a similar injury, tomorrow.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Dr. Mughal’s visit to the NCA is part of a broader effort to ensure the players receive the best possible care and guidance for their recovery. His assessment is crucial in determining the extent of the injuries and the most effective rehabilitation strategies.

A key meeting is scheduled for Monday between Dr. Mughal and Dr. Sohail Saleem, Director of Medical and Sports Sciences at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). This meeting will focus on discussing Dr. Mughal’s detailed reports and formulating a comprehensive recovery and rehabilitation plan for Arshad Iqbal, Zeeshan Zameer, and Sufiyan Muqeem.
