Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Vows to Address Pakistan’s Crises Post Elections

Larkana, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has expressed his commitment to resolving Pakistan’s economic and political crises, as well as combating terrorism, in the event of a victory in the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8. He emphasized his determination to enhance prosperity and employment in the country.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, during a luncheon organized at Bhutto House Naudero in honor of the party’s workers and office-bearers, Chairman Zardari underlined the PPP’s dedication to meeting the expectations of its workers and supporters. He recounted his efforts to expose the ‘Selected Raj’ in the National Assembly since 2018 and highlighted his stance against those infringing upon the people’s rights.

Chairman Zardari expressed his concern over the current socio-economic challenges facing Pakistan, including economic crisis, societal division, and law and order issues. He specifically mentioned the adverse effects of the situation in Afghanistan on various regions in Pakistan, leading to record inflation, unemployment, and poverty.

The PPP chairman also addressed the rise in hate and divisive politics in Pakistan, warning of its implications for the nation’s unity. He expressed alarm at the resurgence of terrorist organizations in the country, attributing it to flawed policy decisions and negotiations with terrorists.

Chairman Zardari assured the party workers of the PPP’s commitment to the people, contrasting it with other political entities focused on self-interest. He cited the party’s response to the 2022 floods, particularly in Sindh, where the government initiated the construction of two million houses with land titles for flood victims, a feat unparalleled worldwide.

The Chairman reiterated that the PPP’s struggles, sacrifices, and efforts are directed towards the betterment of the people, highlighting the distinction between the PPP and other political parties. He motivated the party workers by recalling the legacies of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and expressed his aspiration to become the young Prime Minister of the country with their support.
